Cameroonian-American songstress Libianca first became enchanted with the world of music at an early age, mostly when her babysitter would sing covers of popular songs to her and around the house. The music playing during Libianca’s childhood included: Gospel, R&B,
Afrobeats, and makossa – a Cameroonian genre that is a blend of rumba, funk, highlife, and many other eclectic sounds.

Her upbringing consisted of church and singing with the congregation. Alongside church, Libianca would also attend school showcases and perform at games to practice singing in public. After ten years of development and training to hone her talents, Libianca is becoming a true artist.

If you’ve been near a radio or popular playlist at a streaming platform, chances are very high you’ve already heard her million-streaming breakthrough single “People” that was released in 2022 and presented us with the honest songwriting that’s part of her significant sound.

She’s been praised for her originality and for using her trilingual upbringing in her music that’s arranged around both French, English, and Pidgin.

She’s already collaborated with big names like Omah Lay, Arya Starr, Cian Ducrot, and Becky G and released her first EP Walk Away in 2023. At this very moment she has more than 11 million monthly listeners making her one of the fastest rising new stars of the global Afropop scene.

Do not miss out when Libianca plays her first ever show in Denmark at NorthSide 2024.
