Melbourne quartet Amyl & the Sniffers launched their career in 2016 by writing, recording, and releasing their debut EP Giddy Up in just 12 hours.
In 2017, the Big Attraction EP followed, and along with the debut, it presented the group’s raw sound, inspired by everything from Australian rock and rap to 70s punk. The music is short, fast, loud, and fun!
Amyl & the Sniffers must be experienced live. They played one of the most talked about shows at The Great Escape festival in 2018 and soon afterwards signed deals with both Rough Trade Records and ATO Records, before dropping their award-winning self-titled debut album in 2019. That’s how impactful their live shows are.
The group’s latest album, Comfort To Me came in 2021 and was mixed by none other than Nick Launay (Nick Cave, IDLES, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and mastered by Bernie Grundman (Michael Jackson, Prince Dr. Dre).
