In 1990, Danish group Love Shop released their debut record with the fitting title 1990. The album kicked off an exceptional career spanning 30 years and no less than 14 solid releases. The latest one, a very personal record called Blues Europa, came out last year to great acclaim from Danish music critics.
Singer and songwriter Jens Unmack is the driving force of the band that, through the years, has put out classic songs like “Love Goes On Forever”, “Copenhagen Dreaming”, “En Nat Bliver Det Sommer” and “Fuck Min Højdeskræk” from a discography that includes landmark albums such as Anti and Go.
With his characteristic vocals and longing musical expression, Jens Unmack and Love Shop create melodic and melancholic pop and rock songs with songwriting rooted in everyday poetry.
