Despite the fact that Rud Aslak and Rasmus Theodor are still only in their early 20s, their story already spans several years of flourishing careers, three years of more or less radio silence and now a return with an album that’s been hailed as their best so far.
The Danish rock duo debuted as 16-year-olds, which makes it easier to understand, how their recording history has been so long already. They released their first EP in 2017, their debut record in 2019, did a memorable collaboration with one of the biggest Danish rappers Artigeardit in 2021, and have just released their fourth record, once again cementing Barselona as one of the most exciting bands in Denmark right now.
The record has been described by critics as both a full-blown work of pop art, and a banging Danish rock record with a little miracle of a title track.
