In the beginning of 2023, something happened that only few fans of Danish electro-infused rock band Veto even dared to dream of: The band took to the live stage for the first time in five years to play a spectacular show with the Copenhagen Philharmonics. They had such a great experience they realized they weren’t done with playing live yet.

As a result, we can now look forward to welcoming back Veto to NorthSide for the first time in 12 years!

The genre-bending sound of Veto was everywhere in the mid 2000s after their debut record There’s a Beat in All Machines was released in 2006. At the 2007 Danish Music Awards, the band took home the title as ‘Best New Danish Act’ and were nominated in a total of seven categories.

The band went on to release another three records, of which the latest, 16 Colors, came out in 2018.

When Veto takes the stage at NorthSide 2024, they’ll be playing songs from their whole catalogue. We simply can’t wait!
