When the festival kicks off for the twelfth time from June 1st to 3rd, Muse will be one of the headliners. Muse have been one of the most wished-for names for the 2023 edition of the festival and last year they gave a highly critically acclaimed performance at the festival Tinderbox in Odense. The band is currently on their ongoing Will of the People tour, named after their ninth studio album, which will now include a stop at the Danish festival.

Genre-bending stars, intimate bedroom pop and critically acclaimed rock acts

Muse are joined by several fellow Brits. Manchester-quartet The 1975 received endless praise for their latest, fifth record Being Funny In A Foreign Language which made one of Denmark’s biggest music outlets calling them one of the most interesting bands of our time.

White Lies were on the bill for the cancelled 2020 edition of NorthSide and will now finally be returning with their sixth record As I Try not To Fall Apart. White Lies have a long history of playing to Danish rock fans and have been one of the most beloved live acts in Denmark since their debut in 2009.

American multiplatinum-selling singer and songwriter LP has more than two billion streams under her belt and has written tracks for the likes of Cher, Christina Aguilera, and Rihanna. Her alternative, rock-infused pop went worldwide with the 2015-release of the single “Lost on You” which went number One in 15 countries and to this date has more than 600.000.000 streams on Spotify.

Bedroom pop act and LGBTQ+ icon Cavetown uses songwriting as an outlet for his deepest and most personal thoughts and feelings. His honest songs based on catchy bedroom-pop has racked up millions of fans and resulted in his last Copenhagen show to sell out in an hour.

Finally, French-British act Jehnny Beth has previously been known for shaking up the British rock scene with the postpunk band Savages. In 2020, she released the uncompromising debut record TO LOVE IS TO LIVE to critical acclaim. She’s known for her intense and energetic live performances and is ready to set NorthSide on fire with her genre-bending, industrial soundscapes.

National pop legends, Denmark’s funniest family gathering, and rising new stars

From the Danish music scene, NorthSide presents a snippet of the country’s biggest talents.

Nik & Jay are finally back and will shower the crowd in pop bangers known as the soundtrack to any Danish house party in the past two decades, while rapper Benjamin Hav and his band Familien (the family) bring their “genius” and “insane” (as the press has described it) live show to NorthSide. eee gee was a runner up to the prestigious P3 Talent award and has been praised for her country-infused timeless pop oozing of international potential. Equally exciting is the sister-duo PRISMA, who won the title as ‘New Danish Live Act of the Year’ at this year’s Danish Music Awards for their energetic and harmonic rock-explosions.
