Tickets for NS24 are already available, and now we can finally welcome the first artists to this year’s lineup. A total of 12 artists are ready to rock NorthSide this summer when the festival takes place at Eskelunden from June 6th to 8th.

Festival director Brian Nielsen elaborates on the lineup:

“In 2024, we will present a more ‘classic’ NorthSide program, focusing on bringing in exciting international names to Aarhus while also celebrating some of the many Danish talents we have at home.”

With the initial announcement, we are pleased to welcome the English trip-hop legends and international headliners Massive Attack, originally announced for the canceled year 2020 and a long-standing desire of the audience to grace the festival poster.

From the trendsetting Brits of the ’90s to one of today’s biggest new pop stars, Australian Troye Sivan has garnered significant international attention with his influential new album, “Something To Give Each Other,” filled with playful pop and liberating queer anthems.

His sex-positive musical universe is joined by the up-and-coming rapper Coi Leray, known for hits like “Players,” “TWINNEM,” and “Bops,” representing a generation of uncompromising American female rappers.

Also crossing the Atlantic is the Canadian star producer KAYTRANADA, who has been high on the audience’s wish list since his last visit to NorthSide in 2019. The bass-heavy American rapper, singer, and songwriter 070 Shake also announces her arrival with her unique alternative hip-hop and pop universe.

In the more rock-oriented spectrum, the bestselling Norwegian Kaizers Orchestra returns with their groundbreaking alternative rock after a 10-year hiatus. The festival will also host two exciting modern punk bands, Amyl & The Sniffers from Australia and Shame from England, known for their highly intense live shows.

Today’s announcement also includes four Danish artists, with Ukendt Kunstner as the biggest name. The recently reunited duo has played a key role in the development of Danish hip-hop and has just completed a completely sold-out arena tour.

Barselona is back with their highly acclaimed new album, “Væbnet Hjerte,” while one of the rising stars in the Danish music scene, August Høyen, brings his poignant Danish pop to his first NorthSide visit. Last but not least, Veto will perform material from their entire catalog over the last 20 years when they visit NorthSide for the first time in 12 years.

These initial artists promise a strong summer at NorthSide. We look forward to seeing you in front of the stages from June 6th to 8th.
