2021 dates and first headliner announced

The rock legends in Kashmir are the first addition to the line-up for NorthSide 2021. The dates for next year’s festival are also confirmed to be June 3 – 5, when the brand new festival site, Eskelunden, will provide the backdrop to the atmosphere and music profile NorthSide represents. In addition, NorthSide today launches an exclusive ticket sale for next year’s festival for a limited time only.

Since the festival was cancelled, the team behind NorthSide has worked hard to secure the first name for the 2021 poster, and the first confirmed act is very special;  Kashmir’s show this year at NorthSide would have been their first festival show in five years. We are extremely pleased that they have agreed to postpone this special event to 2021, as it is something our guests have been really looking forward to. The show will be one of only two festival shows in all of 2021, so it will be quite special and exclusive.

One of the most important messages in regards to the cancellation has been to encourage guests to hold on to their tickets, which are automatically valid for next year’s festival, and the positive reassurances and wishes to support NorthSide 2021 have been overwhelming. If you are to find a silver lining in all of this, it must be the overwhelming support, we have received since the cancellation. It is a huge motivation for us, when we are to look ahead and plan next year’s festival. Consequently, we have also chosen to meet the demand from our audience to make it possible to support the festival. We are opening up for the sale of a limited amount of 2021 tickets for a limited period, and at the same price as this year’s tickets. The ticket sale ends on Saturday, June 6 – the same weekend as this year’s festival should have taken place.

We didn’t get to say goodbye to our festival site in Aadalen, but on the other hand we have now been given some extra time to make sure that everything is perfect when in 2021, we welcome NorthSide guests to Eskelunden and the new, big, spectacular and inviting festival area. Something we are very much looking forward to.

NorthSide 2021 takes place in Eskelunden, Aarhus, June 3 -5, 2021. Tickets can be purchased here from April 24, 2020, at 10:00 AM to June 6, 2020, at 11:59 PM.
