Sideshow is a new experience at the festival, where you can experience everything from Czech electro swing and contortionists to drag queens and mermaids

NorthSide adds new and exciting things to the festival every year, but nothing the festival has done in the past is comparable to Sideshow.

During the three days of the festival more than 100 performances will be presented in a large mirror tent, which musically will go from dj’s like Annie O (resident dj at Berlin’s wildest fetish-club KitKat) and Mydy Rabycad – (Czech electro swing band) to Bjonko (winner of Best Live World Act in 2015 at Danish Music Awards) and Orkestr Partisanski, the ten man Russian balkan-rock act.

But the truly special part of Sideshow includes Zirkus, which is a troup of 14 musicians, dancers, and acrobats, who together create a spectacular cabaret performance.

Zirkus are joined by Sweet Burlesque, the taxidermist Rigor Mortisen, Sally the Mermaid, sword swallower Cecillia Gosilla, magician Leon Simmons, contortionist Suvi AnttalienFire Group Crew, and a bondage show – just to name a few of the bizarre things that will happen at Sideshow.

The mirror tent fits about 1100 guests and is open all day and will stay open until the site closes every night. No separate ticket is required for the performances at Sideshow.
