American artist SASAMI is a musical chameleon, seamlessly shifting between ballads, heavy metal, and industrial soundscapes.

Classically trained as a horn player, Sasami Ashworth fuses her conservatory-honed skills with a fearless stage presence that is bold, sensual, and commanding.

In 2018, she left the rock band Cherry Glazerr to pursue her solo career, debuting with “Callous”—a track that earned Pitchfork’s coveted Best New Track distinction. Her self-titled indie rock debut album followed in 2019, leading to the nu-metal and heavy rock-infused Squeeze.

Now, with her upcoming album Blood on the Silver Screen dropping in March, SASAMI shifts gears once again—this time embracing infectious, danceable pop designed to make audiences move, feel, and reflect. No matter the genre, her music remains deeply personal.

This summer, she brings her boundary-pushing, genre-blurring artistry to Eskelunden—serving up a feast of sound, and we’re all invited to the table.
