The Vaccines will play NorthSide

Frances has cancelled her appearance at NorthSide and will be replaced by The Vaccines

Cancellations are always annoying, but it’s always a huge relief when the replacement act is tremendous – which is definitely the case with The Vaccines.

The act from London played at NorthSide back in 2011 only three months after the release of the debut album ”What Did You Expect from The Vaccines?” and came to Aarhus riding on a wave of success with the single ”Post Break-Up Sex” and a song about the Danish model Amanda Nørgaard (”Norgaard”).

The album became the biggest selling debut record in England that year, and when ”Come of Age” was released the following year it shot straight to number one on the UK Album Chart.

– We are very excited to have The Vaccines back at NorthSide. They have a ridiculous amount of catchy punk songs and are sure to rock the P6 BEAT Stage, when they go on stage Saturday night, says spokesperson for NorthSide, John Fogde.
