It is certainly not an everyday occurrence to witness a concert with Pulp, which is among the reasons why we are particularly thrilled to present the English supergroup at NorthSide.

It has been 26 years since the group last played on Danish soil, so it will be a fulfilling experience for devoted Pulp-fans when the group returns to Denmark.

At just 15 years old, the group’s frontman Jarvis Cocker formed the band back in the late ’70s, and since then, Pulp has continuously built up their impressive discography. They truly made their mark on the international music scene with the breakthrough album “His ‘n’ Hers” in 1994, the Mercury Prize-winning “Different Class” the following year, and the album “This is Hardcore” from 1998.

Together, the group has created a string of hits which have achieved an undeniable status as timeless. Perhaps you can already hear the melody in your mind if we mention “Disco 2000” or “Common People”?

With Pulp on the lineup, you can look forward to embarking on a nostalgic time travel and letting Jarvis Cocker’s sharp descriptions of the English class society and the everyday life as an outsider captivate you. There’s nothing left to say but: Let’s all meet up in the year 2024 at NorthSide!
