Friday tickets are sold out

Only a week ago it was announced the there were only a few tickets left for Friday at NorthSide, and as sales took suddenly took off, we can announce that NorthSide is now sold out of day tickets for both Friday and Saturday.

That means that Sunday with acts like Duran Duran, Jake Bugg, Bloc Party, Caribou, and Beck on the program is the only day where there are still one-day tickets available.

So if you would like to see Iggy Pop, Beach House, The Chemical Brothers, Sigur Rós, and Lukas Graham and all the other great acts on this year’s poster, you will have to invest in a ticket that applies to all of the festival’s three days.

– I do not know if it’s because spring is in the air, but we certainly felt a significant upturn in ticket sales last week. Obviously, there was the very well received addition of the last four names for the poster, which both Refused and The Temper Trap playing Friday, and maybe that’s why that type of ticket sold out faster than expected. Either way the one-day tickets started selling quickly, and we are also aware of the same trend in regard to the sale of festival passes for the entire festival, said spokesman for NorthSide, John Fogde.

NorthSide has been sold out the last three years in a row before opening the doors to the festival, and tickets are right now moving at a higher pace than last year.
