• Working with security staff to handle any situations that may arise.

What is a Stagehand?
A stagehand is responsible for moving and handling the artists’ equipment and instruments before and after the concerts. It’s an important role that ensures all gear is ready and in place, allowing the concert to run smoothly and without delays 🎸

Tasks may include:

• Transporting instruments, amplifiers, and other equipment to and from the stage
• Assisting with set changes between different artists, including setting up microphones, stage props, and other technical equipment
• Working closely with technicians, artists, and other volunteers to make sure everything goes as planned

Stagehands make a big difference by ensuring that all the technical aspects of a concert are handled professionally. Without them, it would be impossible to execute concerts with the same quality and timing 🥁

There may be longer waiting times between concerts if there is no need to move equipment on or off the stage. Especially final load-outs after the last artist can take time, as they often have the largest tour productions.
