When Saints Go Machine replace Jehnny Beth at NS24
Jehnny Beth has cancelled her showing at NorthSide 2024
Luckily, Danish electro-pop veterans When Saints Go Machine stand ready to take the Nova tent on Saturday instead.
The Copenhagen trio have established themselves as one of the most interesting bands on the Danish electronic scene – and with that earned international recognition for their unique sound.
The world got to know the group’s characteristic soundscape with their 2011 release Konkylie, which included everlasting hits such as “Church And Law”, “Kelly”, and “Add Ends”. The same sound is continued on the trio’s latest record Rosy, containing what the group poetically calls “a simple road between the sound and feelings in the lyrical images”.
As live performers, you can be sure that When Saints Go Machine will draw you into a unique universe with hypnotizing beats and futuristic sounds. They create a space for fleeting escapism – a space where it’s okay to just let go. Get ready for an electronic party that is sure to leave you impressed as When Saints Go Machine open the evening under the Nova tent.
When Saints Go Machine play the Nova stage, Saturday June 8th.
