When NxWorries feat. Anderson .Paak & Knxwledge released the new single “Where I Go” with H.E.R. in the end of October 2022, it marked a new beginning for the match made in heaven that is singer and rapper Anderson .Paak and producer Knxwledge. The track was the pair’s first release in six years and took us all back to the sweet days between 2014 and 2017 when the two crafted their well-produced mix of soul, hip hop, jazz and funk that lead to .Paak hooking up with Dr. Dre and the launch of his solo career.
Aside from the underground hit “Suede”, NxWorries released the critically acclaimed record Yes Lawd! in 2016, reaching over 100.000 album equivalent sales worldwide. As far away from the States as tiny Denmark, the record gained recognition from music media Soundvenue who gave it 5/6 stars and named it one of the best international records of the year.
Both Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge have competed in the GRAMMYs. .Paak has been nominated for no less than 11 awards and won 8 (both as a solo artist and in his Bruno Mars collaboration Silk Sonic). And Knxwledge received a nomination in the category ‘Best Rap Album’ for his contribution to Kendrick Lamar’s ground-breaking record To Pimp A Butterfly. Aside from Anderson .Paak and Kendrick Lamar, Knxwledge has also worked with the likes of Joey Bada$$ and Earl Sweatshirt, to name a few.
