L’Impératrice are a musical supernova.

The Frenchmen take you on a tour straight to funky grooves and hypnotic vibes where disco meets sci-fi – and everything feels like a night in Paris you’re unlikely to forget. The sextet has captivated minds and shaken dancefloors all over the world with their unique blend of nu-disco, retro-synths and nonchalant French coolness.

Imagine the space disco of the 70s, the synth pop of the 90s and then the soundtrack to an obscure French movie all mashed together in a futuristic chaos – that’s L’Impératrice. The band was founded by Charles de Boisseguin, who was missing the organic groove of disco at at time where electronic music was dominating the French music scene. And the rest of the group caught onto that idea and took it to the very end of the galaxy.
