Lamin must look back on the past two years with a certain pride.
Despite the fact that he’s only just begun, his career has reached heights that few artists of his age would only dream of. He relased his debut album in 2021 that featured several noteworthy Danish artists, and ended that year by selling out his first show at VEGA Small Hall in Copenhagen.
Now, he’ll soon be performing at a sold-out VEGA Main Hall to more than a 1000 people, and he has a string of extremely popular singles to back him up as well as his critically acclaimed second record.
In the fall of 2022, Lamin won the prestigeous P3 Talent Award at the P3 Gold Show (hosted by the National Broadcasting Association) and has been honored with both a ‘Best New Danish Act’ and ‘Best Danish Live Act of the Year’ at the Danish Music Awards.
That’s thanks to the 26-year-old rapper’s ability to mix reflective, smart lyrics with instant dancefloor bangers.
We feel pretty sure that Lamin will have reached a bunch of new, impressive milestones once he visits NorthSide, and we can’t wait to see him in Eskelunden!
Lamin will play Saturday June 3 at NorthSide 2023.
